Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Conecta Education is currently hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in the greater Solano County Area: 

Schedule & Benefits:
  • Full Time 
  • August 2026 to June 2027
  • 5 days per week, Mon-Fri
  • 37.5 hours per week, 7:45 am to 4:15 p.m. 1/2 hour unpaid lunch
  • Providing services to Elementary and Middle School age students
  • Pay starts at $58 an hour.

Job Description:
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services as directed by supervising SLP.
  • Implement IEP goals and objectives for students with speech and language impairments.
  • Prepare therapy materials and instructional activities.
  • Collect and document student performance data toward IEP goals.
  • Assist with speech and language screenings (not formal evaluations).
  • Maintain therapy logs, service records, and progress reports.
  • Support classroom collaboration with teachers and staff.
  • Utilize AAC devices and support students with diverse communication needs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings when requested by supervising SLP.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
 Qualifications: 
  • Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Completion of a Board-approved SLPA program.
  • Valid CA SLPA License.
