Responsibilities: 

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with each student’s IEP (Individualized Education Program)
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and self-care skills
• Develop measurable goals and treatment plans aligned with educational objectives
• Deliver direct therapy services (individual and/or group) in school-based settings
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, including initial, annual, and triennial reviews
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, service logs, and assessment reports
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
• Provide consultation to school staff regarding classroom accommodations and strategies
• Ensure compliance with Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and California state regulations
• Support students in accessing the curriculum through adaptive techniques, equipment, and environmental modifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, active licensure through the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT)
• Valid California driver’s license (if travel between school sites is required)
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
